Devastated I was, after 90min :'(.....I just hate the way engineers are being taught these days...we are a bunch of morons who fail to understand basic concepts in ENGINEERING. I cant believe we all become engineers without understanding basic Math. We still struggle to do Math that was developed in the 16th and 17th century despite having fancy computers and gadgets.

The rest of the world can depend on Computers, Internet, Wikipedia, Wolfram and get smart (I call them Wiki-smart..all superficial-one page knowledge-bunch of dimwits)I depend on my Brain and it will never let me down...cos IT aint a server to CRASH.

We all wait an eternity for these four letters to fall in order.

After watching a Hindi movie yesterday, we had a rather serious discussion on our way back home.

My friend asked me if I believed in SoulMates and I said yes. I told her that the girl/boy you land up spending the rest of your life with-will eventually be your soulmate. I might be totally wrong, but I think everything happens for a reason/s. Nothing is Coincidence-FATE is a human coined term, we just don't have the skill to understand, process and solve this grand cryptogram called LOVE (or in what I truly believe-Endless Love).

Each one of us will surely experience TRUE LOVE/ find our soulmate and when it happens you will understand exactly what I just scribbled and also feel the unexplained power of LOVE.

Just turn down those lights, close your eyes, block all those ringing voices in your head lay down give MY WORDS a deeper- a profound -a more rooted thought-things will fall in place-the chaotic pattern will restore order.

Sitting in the lab yesterday getting bored doing simulations on ABAQUS I just had to do something exciting.

Well- this is what I deduced

If you throw a stone in vacuum it follows a parabola.

Its strange how math helps us to visualize 'weird' things, the way it represents a physical world problem depicts great success.

On the other hand I just realized for me to get excited all I need is a pen and some basic equations. I'm cheap :p

We all have our own heroes.

My story is less than perfect, my heroes have changed with time and choice of different heroes depicts my maturity or thats what i believe.

In school I terrorized my parents for endless toys, they ranged from GI-JOe's to He-man. My favorite hero then; was Batman. This may be the reason why I still love my comics.

I was then, like any high school kid introduced to Rocky Balboa. I always wondered how his hard punches and his soft heart co-exist. I tried becoming strong, joined karate for a day quit but never gave up on trying to have soft heart.

Then got into college, it was about time I had a sport hero. There was Lance Armstrong, though not a big fan of cycling I just admired his determination and will to win. It just got embedded in me a thought- that nothing is impossible and never did any loss leave me unsettled. Never learnt to cycle fast, in fact I take 9 min to cycle 3 miles but I learnt to never give up.

Recently, everything changed. Finally, I have not just one hero but heroes. Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar and last but not least Sandeep Uni Krishnan. These names are not famous as any of the names mentioned above, but these people have shown that the very essence of humanity-sacrifice-still exists and is very alive. They laid down their lives today for our tomorrow in the recent Mumbai Blasts. No amount of writing or praise can equal their sacrifice.It also reverberates that every ordinary person who answers his call of duty with utmost honesty automatically makes him a hero. It also reflects how important community service is.

I dont know if these people have, in any ways changed you, but one things for sure these people have made me more patriotic. It gives me another reason and I take pride again to call myself an Indian today. May the force always be with HER.
